He is in charge of brand development, marketing and commercial activity for the Ponant Group.
In particular, he leads the commercial strategy and its development for Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia, both for cruises under the PONANT brand and for cruises under the Paul Gauguin brand, a company acquired in 2019.
He holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Collège des Ingénieurs and an Engineering degree from Ecole des Ponts & Chaussées, one of the TOP 5 Engineering school in France.
Hervé Bellaïche began his career at the SNCF, in Seoul, on the project to build a TGV line in South Korea. He then joined the Sales Department of AXA Assurances.
From 1998 to 2006, he was a consultant at Kearney, a reputable strategy worldwide consulting firm, on strategic repositioning or marketing assignments, often for investment funds.
He joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel in 2006 as Sales & Marketing Director for France; he was then promoted as Head of Business Development for Europe and later Head of Business Strategy for the Group.
He joined PONANT in 2013 with a mandate to develop brand reputation and business worldwide.
