Minister of Culture of the Republic of Moldova

Sergiu Prodan is a reputable Moldovan film director and producer. His film Patul lui Procust (2002) won 15 international awards, including Berlinale and (International Film Festival) IFF Karlovy Vary, IFF Philadelphia, and IFF Mexico (2008). His creative agency `Atelier` has produced ones of the most reputed TV commercial for Moldova’s tourism communication and promotion campaigns – `Be Our Guest` (2018-2019), conferred with several tourism awards.

Has served as the President of the Moldovan Film Union, and co-authored the new Law on Film Production. Has been a professor with the Academy of Fine Arts in Moldova. He joined the Gavrilita Government as the Minister of Culture, and this is his first Government Service post. Ministry of Culture is the central authority for the tourism industry in Moldova.
