After Evora, Portugal, and Nîmes, France, Seville offered its invaluable heritage to welcome A World For Travel speakers and delegates. As a crossroads of civilizations (Roman, Muslim, Christian), Seville is a compendium of world history. All our social events, the welcome party, official dinner, pre and post event tours allowed to experience this rich culture in all of Seville’s glory.

Travel Industry in Action

Over the past two decades, the industry has sporadically tackled the issue of sustainability.  5 years ago, the A World for Travel started and issued a call to action in tandem with many other organizations and non-profits.  Today, we are seeing a more collective, cohesive response across industry but also from the public sector with an abounding lead from the EU.  The aperture is focused on all-inclusive activities under the banner ESG or Environment, Sustainability and Governance.

This year’s AWFT24 aims to showcase where the industry is in its efforts and actions both through the lens of the private and public sectors.  By focusing on 5 thematic areas we will be able to have concentrated discussions on how parties have tackled climate, energy transitions, financial services engagement, community and communication.  The agenda covers these areas through thought leadership brought by some of the world’s leading institutions and the industry’s foremost speakers from firms like Radisson Hotel Group, AXA, Travelzoo, Sabre, Geotourist, Companie des Alpes, Intrepid and the WTTC.  Join us in Seville, alongside TIS on Oct 23-24.
