Brodie is Australian-born who splits his time between the South-West of France and exotic surf destinations. He has  25+ years of experience in brand and destination marketing and has built a successful career creating unique non-traditional brand partnerships. 

Brodie’s main strength lies in linking brands and destinations to community and evolving pop-culture. Brodie has worked with brands like Red Bull, Vans, Apple, Oakley, Quiksilver, Swatch, Go Pro and many more. He has one of the most complete global black books in the youth lifestyle space with an impressive connection of athletes, influencers and brands.

From 2018 to 2020, Brodie was the Managing Director of Tourism Western Australia, where he led and developed Western Australia’s own unique tourism brand narrative called “Our Story: The Spirit of Adventure”. The process was developed from the ground up to understand what made Western Australia so special to you as a West Aussie. The result is a narrative and framework that the whole WA tourism sector can use, and the people of Western Australia would feel proud to own. It is the foundational baseline to inform all future brand marketing campaigns for the State. 

Western Australia has since won multiple awards from brand campaigns developed using “the Spirit of Adventure” framework, including their most successful campaign ever “We’re free to Wander out Yonder”.

Before TWA, Brodie was the Global Chief Executive Officer at the World Surf League, transforming the business into the hottest lifestyle media and entertainment entity on the planet with a digital marketing performance that rivals the likes of the NBA and NFL.
