Külli Kraner serves as the Head of Tourism Policy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, bringing with her 19 years of experience in strategic planning, European Union Cohesion Policy, and the advancement and digitalization of Estonia’s business environment. With a profound specialization in tourism policy, Külli harnesses her expertise to lead the creation of a new long-term strategy for Estonian tourism. In pursuit of this objective, she employs the Strategic Foresight methodology, recognizing that the dynamics of tourism and travel are marked by uncertainty in the future, rendering reliance on the past inadequate. Consequently, the analysis of various potential future scenarios becomes imperative for informed decision-making and policy formulation.
Holding a degree in Human Geography from the University of Tartu, Külli demonstrates her commitment to the strategic progress of Estonian tourism.
